Many of our biggest environmental victories have resulted from successful efforts by grassroots community organisations to influence public policy. They use a range of tools in their campaigns, including community organising, citizen science, research, lobbying and litigation.

In this session a group of Australia’s leading environmental advocates will share their knowledge and experience of what works and challenge philanthropy to ramp up support for different types of advocacy and advocates.
